    Thiago Motta announces PSG exit

Thiago Motta is set to leave PSG at the end of the season after a five-year spell at the club. The Italian midfielder’s contract runs until the end of the season and the two parties are not going to agree a new deal.
The former Inter and Genoa midfielder has announced his PSG exit with an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“PSG are like home to me and I’ve always said that I wanted to stay to develop and boost their project.”

“That’s why I think it’s time to go for me now; this will be my last season in Paris as a footballer.”

Motta is going to leave PSG once his contract ends, but is still unsure about his future.

“I can still play at some high standards; maybe I could play in an emerging league and move to a stimulating place for me family and I. Otherwise, I could begin the coaching career. I still don’t know what I am going to do next, it depends on what I am going to be offered really. Whatever decision I’ll take it will be always shared with president Al-Khelaifi.”
