Tottenham and AC Milan alerted as Serie A star refuses to extend expiring contract

Tottenham and AC Milan had been linked with a move for Fiorentina star Milan Baldej in the past. The Croatia International will see his contract expire at the end of the season and he has yet to reach an agreement to extend his stay at the club.

Badelj was tipped to leave Fiorentina in the summer but the Serie A giants refused to sell him although the viola hierarchy is not on good terms with the player’s entourage.
Badelj’s agent has always confirmed that his client won’t be signing a contract extension with Fiorentina and Il Corriere dello Sport (as quoted by cm.com) confirms there is still no agreement between the player and the club.

Badelj has only a few more months left in his contract with the Serie A side and if he won’t pen a contract extension with Fiorentina by the beginning of January the former Hamburger SV star will be allowed to talk to any interested club and move away from Fiorentina as a free agent at the end of the season.

Tottenham and AC Milan have been warned, the free signing of Badelj could be one of the biggest bargains in Europe.
