Transfer news: Juventus watching Portugal starlet

According to what has been reported by Portuguese newspaper Record, Juventus are turning their attention to Benfica starlet Ruben Dias as they keep up their search for long-term replacements for Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli and, a bit further down the road, Leonardo Bonucci.

Report suggest that Juventus had scouts at San Siro to watch Italy’s 0-0 UEFA Nations League draw with Portugal and were impressed by what they saw. Dias recently extended his Benfica contract, however, with a release clause of €60m. Benfica rejected a €30m offer from Lyon in the summer, so Juve will have to pay big.
