Napoli and Stuttgart both unveiled two new black jerseys last night, the former of which only released it hours before their 2-1 victory over AC Milan.

For Napoli, their kit maker, Kappa, designed a new jet-black shirt they call, “Kombat Karbon.” The new shirt, which is the team’s fourth of the season, features a new “anti-tug” technology and a carbon fiber design. While many fans were enamored by its contemporary look, others lamented the lack of common characteristics familiar to the club, as black is not one of their colors.

Stuttgart debuted their jet-black shirt, named “City Jersey” during their clubs 2-1 victory over Dortmund. The club created it as an homage to the city and football. The shirt, for which its sponsor, Mercedes-Benz, and the Bundesliga allowed their logos to be blacked out, is a one off, and will never be worn by the club again.

What do you think of the striking new shirts?
