UCL - Player Ratings: Juventus 0 - 0 Barcelona: Messi & co go through

Primera Division leaders FC Barcelona came to the match against Juventus at the Allianz Stadium in Turin knowing that one point meant they not only qualigy to the knockout stages of the Champions League, but they do so top of their group.

This explains a lot as to why Messi was rested but also as to how Barcelona behaved on the night as they looked anything like a team that was going for the 3 points.

Juventus on the other hand had rested players this past weekend in the Serie A for this particular match with Paolo Dybala starting the match and looking very lively throughout the 90 minutes. The former Palermo player caused problems down the Juventus left flank together with Alex Sandro who had a great night as well.

However in the end no-one was able to break the deadlock and the point means Barcelona secure the top spot in the group whilst Juventus have it all in their own hands when they travel to Greece to face off with already eliminated Olympiacos in the last group stage match in a fortnight.
