West Ham: Italian duo linked with replacing Bilic

Slaven Bilic’s job is under strict scrutiny as West Ham are stuck in the relegation area with eight points in nine games. Friday night’s home defeat against Brighton was only the last one of several disappointing games played by the Hammers this season and several reports in England claim Bilic could be sacked in the coming hours.

There are two managers who could replace the Croatian tactician in East London and both of them are Italian and would return to the Premier League if West Ham call them.
According to The Mirror, West Ham want Roberto Mancini to become their next manager if Bilic faces sack.

The former Man City and Inter manager is currently contracted with Zenit St. Petersburg but West Ham would try to tempt the Italian to return to the Premier League. The Russian side, however, may not agree to offload their new boss.

Walter Mazzarri is another option for the Hammers. The former Inter manager is out of contract after Watford sacked him at the end of last season. Mazzarri is willing to coach in Premier League again and according to Tuttomercatoweb (as quoted by Sportmediaset), West Ham have already made contact with the Italian manager.

Either him or Mancini could be the replacement of Bilic.
