Bale to Man Utd is on after Zidane agrees to Welshman's summer departure

Reports are emerging that Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is open to the sale of Welsh superstar Gareth Bale. The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Spanish capital this summer and The Independent writes that the player is willing to make that move to Manchester United, if his current employers feel it’s time for him to move on.

Over in Spain, Diario Gol states that the French tactician is already preparing for life without the mercurial Welshman and will use the cash collected from his sale to bring French striking sensation Kylian Mbappe in from Monaco.

The portal also declares that Zidane would rather hang onto to his fellow countryman Karim Benzema as he is frustrated at the amount of game time Bale has lost to injury over the past 12 months. His President, Florentino Perez feels the same and recent reports have suggested that he will sacrifice the man he brought in to be the natural successor to Cristiano Ronaldo.
