Zola makes prediction on West Ham campaign

GianFranco Zola had a great playing career as he mostly played in the Serie A and the EPL. The little Italian forward played for clubs such as Napoli, Parma and Cagliari to name a few. He also had a very successful career in the EPL for Chelsea as he scored 59 EPL goals for them in 229 games. He retired from football in 2005 as he has since managed a few different clubs (West Ham, Watford, Cagliari, Al-Arabi and more recently Birmingham). Here is what he had to say on West Ham in an interview with the press:

" I have seen West Ham play a few times this season and I did not like what I saw. I understand that you want to try to play an attractive style of football but I haven't seen much offensively. A team that plays like this won't have much success in a competitive league like the EPL. I think that this team got worst over the past season as they are also lacking the right approach. I think that the stadium is very important and many fans have been telling me that it is a problem. The fans are too far which isn't good. The past stadium was great and there was always a great atmosphere".
