Despite the change of coach, the young defender Davide Santon is not finiding any space at Inter. Fiorentina were interested in him, but the player, who did not get along wth Benitez, decided to stay.

His agent, Renzo Contratto, told sport.co.uk: "It is very unlikely that Santon will be transferred in January. He will stay at Inter for the moment. I can't exclude that he could leave the club in the summer".

In the meantime there is a rumor from France regarding Patrice Evra, 29, who has a contract with Manchester United until June 2012. His agent, Federico Pastorello, told L'Equipe: "His future will be decided at the end of the season. Either he will renew or leave". Evra has already played in Italy with Marsala and Monza.
