PSG need €80m to respect FFP: Pastore, Di Maria, Lucas to be sold?

PSG have met with UEFA over Financial Fair Play, and are actually doing a lot better than expected.

Recent reports from RMC Sport indicate that the Ligue 1 leaders have actually agreed terms in order to respect FFP, in a meeting on October 5th in Nyon. They had been under investigation as of September.

They signed Neymar and Kylian M’Bappe this summer, for a total of 402 million, though 135m of that will only be paid for M’Bappe next year.

That said, the Parisians need to cough up 80 million by the end of the season, and now that everyone knows they need to sell, they may struggle to fetch the prices they want.

The likes of Javier Pastore, Angel Di Maria, Hatem Ben Arfa, Lucas Moura and possibly even Presnel Kimpembe could be sold, but the idea is that clubs will try to hold PSG hostage over the price they want.

There is good news, however, namely that PSG will be able to play in the Champions League next year, so long as they find the money that is.
