Genoa president, Enrico Preziosi, denied Luca Toni's transfer to Milan. Speaking to Telenord, he said: "Toni goes to Milan like Ronaldinho goes to Lumezzane...".

Preziosi also denied the rumours about his possible involvement in the acquisition of Roma: "I don't know who said that... clearly this person is insane. When I finish at Genoa, I finish with football".
