A Belgium international seemingly turns down Chelsea's interest : the latest

Chelsea have now completed the signing of four new players (Caballero, Bakayoko, Rudiger and Morata) as a fifth one might soon arrive. It is not a secret that Chelsea are now trying to find a back-up for Alvaro Morata since Diego Costa should soon leave the club. Antonio Conte has his eyes on two players for this role: Fernando Llorente and Christian Benteke. According to the Independant, the Belgium international does not want to join Chelsea if it means that he will be a back-up since he wants to get playing time ahead of next summer's World Cup. This means that Llorente is the favorite to join the blues but he won't come cheap.

Llorente appeared in 35 games last season for Swansea as he scored 15 goals and added one assist on the season. Let's not forget that Llorente also played for Juventus, who are Antonio Conte's ex-team. Chelsea will be competing in UCL football next season as the Italian coach stated that he wanted to improve the quality of his side.
