AC Milan: still keen on Chiriches. Juventus: Quagliarella towards England

As already explained, after the injury suffered by Daniele Bonera, AC Milan’s ptiority on the transfer market has become the signing of a new defender: their Chief Executive Adriano Galliani, as reported by goal.com, has confirmed to be in talks with Inter Milan for 28 year old Matias Silvestre but  has sublined that there are no agreements. The rossoneri are in any case evaluating other options, like Steaua Bucharest 23 year old Vlad Chiriches, who, as reported by prosport.ro, could be yielded if his actual team would qualify to the group stage of the UEFA Champions League; on the contrary, Cagliari 26 year old Davide Astori could finally join Manchester City to replace Mateja Nastasic, seriously injured. The Lombard club keeps also on seeking a high-rated attacking midfielder, and remains attentive to the situation of Fiorentina 21 year old Adem Ljajic, who has not yet exetended his contract with the viola, actually expiring in June 2014; the Tuscan club’s Sports Director Daniele Pradè has told Sky Sport that he is working to renew the player’s contract, but that the Serbia international will have to demonstrate his will to stay.

Serie A defending champions Juventus are basically focused on selling some of their players: as reported by the Corriere dello Sport, 30 year old forward Fabio Quagliarella seems intentioned to accept Norwich City’s offer, while, as highlighted by calciomercato.com, 29 year old Alessandro Matri remains a Napoli target. On the contrary, according to Sportmediaset.it, the bianconeri have refused Inter Milan’s offer for 23 year old midfielder Luca Marrone, as this latter is considered not for sale by his coach Antonio Conte.
