AC Milan, Brocchi hits out at players: ‘Restaurant booking more important than Verona defeat’

AC Milan have been living another terrible season and with the rossoneri who are now in danger to miss out on Europa League spot, new manager Cristian Brocchi has hit out at his own players for their attitude during the 2-1 defeat to Verona on Monday.

Italian paper La Repubblica has reported that the Italian tactician accused his players of being more concerned about booking a restaurant, than about the humiliating defeat against Serie A strugglers after the Betegodi blow.

Brocchi has only racked up four points in his first three games as AC Milan boss and his troubles are not only concerning tactics and work on the pitch.

The AC Milan dressing room is rumoured to be divided. Who knows already that his future will be far from the San Siro next season (Menez, Luiz Adriano, Zapata and Mexes) is accused of lack of commitment.

Brocchi can’t do miracles, but his confirmation on the rossoneri bench depends on results, in both the league and the domestic cup.
