AC Milan: Darmian farther. Inter: sprint for Erkin
AC Milan are still evaluating the possible options for their first team’s technical guide, as Clarence Seedorf seems henceforth intended to leave: as reported yesterday, the rossoneri, as well as Juventus –who risk to loose Antonio Conte-, are thinking about Fiorentina 39 year old old Vincenzo Montella, but this latter has expressed his intention to honor his contract with the viola; the Lombard club –as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport- has then contacted the former Zenit St. Petersburg coach Luciano Spalletti and Conte himself, even if the rumours regarding this latter have been already denied. On the other hand, the youth team’s coach Filippo Inzaghi has been quite elusive about the possibility to replace his former team mate. Meanwhile, Milan are trying to work to build the team for the next season, and will first of all have to deal with the situation of six players who are actually on loan at other clubs and that will come back to “San Siro” at the end of June. Regarding the possible new signings, the rossoneri will need in any case to reinforce their flank, and one of their main targets for such position sems to be Torino 24 year old Matteo Darmian, but the former Palermo player has rubbished such rumors. Also city rivals Inter Milan are seeking a new wingback, and, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, are trying to speed-up the negotiation for 24 year old Caner Erkin, whose contract with Fenerbahçe is about to expire.
