AC Milan: Everton retire from striker race as Montella hints at Bacca exit

AC Milan have managed a stunning 4-0 against Bayern Munich on Sunday afternoon and the rossoneri boss Vincenzo Montella talked to assembled media after the final whistle.

The Italian tactician did confirm that Carlos Bacca is set to leave the club this summer.

“I didn’t line-up Bacca because he won’t play on Thursday in Europa League. We have no problems with him we have solved everything by mutual agreement. My decision is of course linked with the transfer market."

“I liked how the team played today. The lads did put into practice what I usually tell them during trainings. We played very well also when we did not have the ball possession.”

Carlos Bacca is not the only player who will be leaving the San Siro this summer. M’Baye Niang, in fact, is likely to leave AC Milan as well with Torino and Fiorentina interested in the Frenchman. Everton have retired from the race to sign him and AC Milan could include the former Watford striker in a player-plus cash swap deal to sign either Kalinic or Belotti.
