AC Milan: fifth signing announced, improved bid for Bundesliga star submitted

AC Milan have officially completed the signing of Fabio Borini from Southampton. The Italian has joined the rossoneri on loan with mandatory buy-out clause, the Serie A giants have announced through their official website.

It is believed that the signing of Borini would cost AC Milan € 6 million.

The player completed his medical with AC Milan today before signing his contract with the Serie A giants. Borini is the fifth summer signing of the rossoneri after Franck Kessié, Mateo Musacchio, Andre Gomes and Ricardo Rodriguez.

Meantime, Calciomercato.com has exclusively learned that AC Milan have made an imporved bid to sign Calhanoglu. The 23-year-old has emerged as a top transfer target for the Serie A giants. AC Milan have offered Bayer Leverkusen € 20 million plus € 3-4 million add-ons.

The Bundesliga giants have slapped € 30 million price-tag on the Turkey International but AC Milan’s offer seem close enough to the German’s asking price.
