AC Milan: good-bye Pato? Inter: no to Balotelli; sprint for Holtby

A few days ago, AC Milan honorary president and major shareholder Silvio Berlusconi declared that he had no regrets about keeping 23 year old forward Alexandre Pato: today the Lombard club’s Chief Executive Adriano Galliani has met Gilmar Veloz, agent of the Brazil international; Galliani has confirmed the club’s will to keep the player, while the South American manager has asked some technical safeguards: if his client won’t play regularly, he could asked to be yielded, maybe already during the next transfer window. Another player whose future remain uncertain is 24 year old center back Francesco Acerbi: nexy Friday’s game against Catania could be the last chance for the Italy international to demonstrate that the rossoneri don’t need a new defender. Regarding the possible new signings, Giovanni Branchini, agent of FC Parma 24 year old winger Jonathan Biabiany has declared to Parmatoday that for the moment there are no concrete offers for the player and that, in any case, he doesn’t think that Milan need his client.

Recently there have been some rumours regarding the possibility for Manchester City 22 year old striker Mario Balotelli to move back to Inter Milan, but, interviewed by ANSA, the Lombard club’s president Massimo Moratti has denied such option; Moratti has also declared that the team won’t be changed much during the next transfer window, but the nerazzurri seem very active on the market, expecially regarding the midfield, as they seem intentioned to speed-up the negotiations for 22 year old Lewis Holtby, whose contract with Schalke 04 will expire at the end of the season. Another priority fot Inter seems to be the signing of a new right back, and Arsenal 29 year old Bacary Sagna seems to have many chances to join Andrea Stramaccioni’s team.
