Milan: green light for Balotelli; Ilicic to replace Robinho. Juve: Lewandowski won't join

AC Milan’s strategy for the next transfer window seems extremely clear: sell some of their players, 23 year old Alexandre Pato and 28 year old Robinho in particular, to sign a couple of high-profile footballers. Regarding the two Brazilian forwards, Santos have already found an agreement with their former player but are waiting before accepting to pay the 7,5 million euros required by the rossoneri, while for Pato Corinthians would like to pay the 15 million euros agreed with the Lombard clubs in three times. Milan’s main targets, at least for the moment, seem to be Manchester City 22 year old striker Mario Balotelli and PSV Eindhoven same aged midfielder Kevin Strootman: the possible signing, according to the Daily Star, by the Citizens of Barcelona 31 year old David Villa could ease the transfer of the Italy international to Milan. The rossoneri, expecially considering the departure of Robinho, are also seeking an external forward or an attacking midfielder, and, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, are thinking about Palermo 24 year old Josip Ilicic.

Juventus keep on seeking a striker but one of their main targets, Borussia Dortmund 24 year old Robert Lewandowski, doesn’t seem intended to join, not even at the end of the season, as the Poland international, according to Bild, has already found an agreement with Manchester United. For the next season the Serie A defending champions’main option remains then Athletic Bilbao 27 year old Fernando Llorente, while for the immediate, according the Corriere dello Sport, Shanghai Shenhua 34 year old Didier Drogba is always closer.
