AC Milan new coach Clarence Seedorf will arrive today in Italy, and will be introduced to the press next Saturday: according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Dutchman has already in mind some radical change for the Lombard team: the rossoneri will play with a 4-3-1-2, with Honda behind Balotelli and Kakà; for this reason, Seedorf wants a midfielder that has both technical skills and physical strength, like 20 year old Adam Mahrer, who has joined PSV Eindhoven last summer for 7 million euros. Moreover, still according to “La Gazzetta”, the Dutch coach is also thinking about Chelsea 31 year old Michael Essien, whose signing was not agreed by Massimiliano Allegri. Some players will, on the contract, leave the rossoneri, like 31 year old center back Philippe Mexes, 29 year old forward Robinho, same-aged midfielder Nigel De Jong and 27 year old right back Ignazio Abate. Meanwhile, 29 year old forward Alessandro Matri has substained the medicals for Fiorentina, where he will play on loan until the end of the season, while 32 year old defender Cristian Zaccardo is tracked by Bologna, Sassuolo and Besiktas.
