AC Milan in ‘advanced talks’ for Bundesliga star

AC Milan have made Bayer Leverkusen star Hakan Calhanoglu one of their summer transfer priorities and according to reports in Germany and Italy, the Serie A giants are pushing for the signing of the versatile 23-year-old who can either play as attacking midfielder or winger.

AC Milan and Leverkusen are reported to be in ‘advanced talks’ over the transfer of the highly rated attacking midfielder although there is still a gap between the rossoneri’s offer and Bayer’s demand.

The Serie A giants have offered € 20 million, whilst the Bundesliga side would sell the player for a fee slightly lower than € 30 million.

Of course that it is not an impossible gap to fill and Italian media believe Calhanoglu to AC Milan could be a done deal within the next few days. The player has reportedly given his green light to move to AC Milan. The rossoneri are also negotiating with Atalanta over the signing of their star defender Andrea Conti.
