    AC Milan join Juventus and Watford in race to sign young prolific striker

    AC Milan, Juventus and Watford are the most interested clubs in signing Serie B youngster Riccardo Orsolini, calciomercato.com has exclusively learned.

    The 19-year-old striker is under contract with Ascoli and is delivering some stunning performances that have attracted the interest of many clubs around Europe. Scorer of four goals so far this season, Orsolini is one of the most promising Italian strikers out there.

    Watford executives scouted Orsolini last week and Juventus are long time admirers of the prolific front-man. AC Milan, however, want to build their team of the future around solid Italian prospects and Orsolini is definitely one of Italy’s most promising footballers, just like Gianluigi Donnarumma and Manuel Locatelli.

    ​Juventus have already made contact with the player’s entourage, AC Milan will ask information pretty soon whilst Napoli and Inter are also monitoring the situation. The nerazzurri vice president Javier Zanetti called the Orsolini a few months ago, learning that the promising footballer is a die-hard Inter fan.
