Inter: Mazzarri at risk. AC Milan : Mitrovic farther

In the home game against Hellas Verona, Inter Milan have offered another deceiving performance, so the position of their first team’s coach Walter Mazzarri remains uncertain: as explained by calciomercato.com’s director Xavier Jacobelli, the future of the 53-year-old will be decided during today’s meeting between the nerazzurri’s general staff: as revealed by La Domenica Sportiva, in fact, the Lombard club’s president Erick Thohir has postponed his return to Indonesia to meet all his executives and Mazzarri himself; according to Tuttosport, the Indonesian tycoon will also meet his predecessor Massimo Moratti, who has recently decided to quit his post of honorary president; the two, as reported by the Corriere dello Sport, could make a common decision about the Tuscan coach. Meanwhile, interviewed by La Repubblica, Thohir has assured that he has never given an ultimatum to Mazzarri. Thohir has been very cautious about his club’s transfer market policy, but the rumors regarding the nerazzurri continue: according to the British medias, in fact, Inter, as well as city rivals AC Milan, are keen on Everton 24-year-old midfielder James McCarthy: the Ireland international has not yet found an agreement with The Toffees to renew his deal, and his agent has recently been in Italy to meet the two clubs. The rossoneri are also seeking a striker, and, as reported in the last weeks, are thinking about Anderlecht 20-year-old Aleksandar Mitrovic, but to obtain the Serbia international, they will have to compete –as reported by O Jogo- with Benfica.
