AC Milan: new owners set objectives for next two seasons

AC Milan’s future is going to change massively in the next few weeks with a Chinese consortium that is set to complete the club’s takeover.

New owners are known to be fans of Vincenzo Montella, so much so they want to confirm the aeroplanino on the bench of the diavoli also for the next campaign.

According to today’s edition of La Repubblica, however, new owners have set the objectives for the next two seasons and Montella will have to fulfil the club’s expectations if he wants to be confirmed as AC Milan’s boss.
Sino-Europe (that’s the name of the Chinese consortium) want the team to qualify to Europa League at least this season. In the 2017-18 campaign, however, new owners expect Montella to qualify to Champions League. If he fails to do so, new owners could decide not to extend his stay at the club.

AC Milan will try to sign big names in the next two transfer window and new owners hope that investments would be enough for the rossoneri to meet their expectations.

The rossoneri face direct contenders Sassuolo today in a key Serie A clash.
