AC Milan News: Bonaventura ruled out of Udinese clash

Milan will be looking for their third successive win in Serie A after beating Inter and Palermo last week.

Sinisa Mihajlovic will have to do without injured Giacomo Bonaventura in Milan’s next game against Udinese: one of the most important players of the team, probably the best midfielder of the squad.

The former Atalanta ace has tried hard to recover from an injury to his right hip, but despite his efforts, he had to quit today’s training session due to excessive pain.

We still don’t know how long Bonaventura will be forced out of action, but there are reasons to be quite optimistic about his availability for Milan’s game against Genoa next week.
Bonaventura had only missed two games this season, before tomorrow’s blow.

The first one was against Atalanta at San Siro, when Milan were held to 0-0.

The second one was just a few weeks ago against Lega Pro side Alessandria. In that occasion Milan managed to seal the victory despite an unconvincing performance.

Milan, by the way, look quite a different team now. Victory in the Milan derby has boosted the morale of both players and fans and if Milan will manage to win also against Udinese and without one of their main men, it will be still possible for Sinisa Mihajlovic to pursuit the dream of getting a Champions League spot.
