AC Milan: Ronaldinho pessimistic about Champions League qualification

Former AC Milan and Barcelona star Ronaldinho has just arrived in Italy for the presentation of a wine that has been ‘dedicated’ to him.

The former Brazil star was his thoughts about the Serie A campaign but unfortunately for his former fan, he had no good news for AC Milan.

“I think they [AC Milan] will struggle to qualify for Champions League”, the Brazilian told Sky.

“They will be a stronger side next year but I think they’ll find it hard to qualify for the Champions League. However, a club with the history and tradition of AC Milan can do anything.”

“When I was in Italy I thought [former AC Milan and Inter owners] Berlusconi and Moratti would have not sold their clubs. I was very happy in Milan, let’s see what will happen with the club this season.”

Ronaldinho spent two years and a half at AC Milan. He scored 26 goals and registered 29 assists in 95 appearances with the Serie A giants.
