AC Milan: sprint for Cerci. Inter: Palacio has renewed
AC Milan, as well as the other major Italian clubs, are seeking a new winger, and one of their main targets for such position is Torino 26 year old Alessio Cerci, also tracked by Juventus; as exclusively reported by calciomercato.com, the rossoneri keep on talk with the Piedmont’s club president Urbano Cairo and with the player’s agent Sergio Berti; the Italy international seems to agree to a transfer to “San Siro” where he will earn about two million euros per season; the Lombard club will try to carry out the negotiation for the former Fiorentina player before the World Cup, to avoid a possible auction. Milan are also seeking a playmaker, and could swoop again on Feyenoord 22 year old Jordy Clasie: the Holland international, considered the new Xavi, has recently extended his deal with his current club and is also tracked by Arsenal. On the contrary, another Dutch midfielder, 29 year old Nigel De Jong, seems intended to leave the Lombard club at the end of the season. The rossoneri are also seeking a new goalkeeper, and, according to Sport, are in competition with Napoli for Real Madrid 32 year old Diego Lopez. Important day for city rivals Inter Milan: 32 year old forward Rodrigo Palacio, in fact, has extended his deal with the nerazzurri until June 2016. Meanwhile, still regarding their offensive line, Inter –according to Metro- have been overtaken by Liverpool in the hunt for Hellas Verona 20 year old Juan Iturbe.
