AC Milan still interested in Zaza as striker could leave West Ham

The future of Simone Zaza at West Ham is in doubt. The Italian striker joined the Hammers in a loan deal with compulsory € 20 million option to buy last summer, but the Premier League side can only activate the option if the striker reaches 15 appearances with the club.

Zaza has only four appearances in all competitions so far this season and with Slaven Bilic on the brink, a possible replacement of the Croat tactician could give the former Juventus striker even less game time than what he’s currently getting under the man he strongly wanted him at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium last summer.

AC Milan have yet to make approach with either the club and the player’s agent as they are plenty of centre forwards at the moment.

However, with Carlos Bacca who has been linked with a January more to PSG again and with both Luiz Adriano and Gianluca Lapadula who are struggling to settle in well at the club, the rossoneri might knock the Hammers’ door in the winter transfer window.
