    AC Milan, which future for Gabriel Paletta?

    AC Milan loanee Gabriel Paletta will return to the San Siro at the end of the season after a decent one-year-loan spell at Atalanta. The former Italy International has played 24 games scoring one goal this season and will hold talks with the rossoneri over his future after the 30th of June, the expiration date of his contract with La Dea.

    Paletta, 30, wants to be give regular game time from next season and will only return at AC Milan with a starting role. With Alex, Philippe Mexes and Christian Zapata who will see their contracts expiring at the end of the current campaign, the Argentina-born defender could be given the opportunity of remaining at AC Milan, but if he won’t be guaranteed a starting role, Atalanta could decide to sign him on a permanent deal.
