AC Milan: duel with Newcastle for Yanga-Mbiwa. Juventus: interest for Diakité denied

As well known, Montpellier defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa is considered an AC Milan target, and the player, whose contract with his actual club will expire in June 2013, has expressed many times his will to join the rossoneri; to avoid to loose the 23 year old as a free agent, it seems that the Ligue 1 champs have offered him a new contract at 1,5 million euros per season, with the promise to let him go next year. Moreover, according to the Journal, also Newcastle are keen on the France national. And still from England, yesterday have arrived an interesting news regarding the Lombard club: the Daily Mail, in fact, has substained that Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina is no longer part of manager Brendan Rodgers’plans, and could replace Cristian Abbiati at Milan.

Also Juventus are seeking a center back for the second part of the season, and one of their main targets seems to be Lazio 25 year old Modibo Diakité: interviewed by RadioSei, Ulisse Savini, agent of the French player, has declared that for the moment there is nothing new about his client and that, as far as he is concerned, the bianconeri coach Antonio Conte is not interested in the player. For sure in January the Serie A champions will have to find a new striker, as the signing of 24 year old Nicklas Bendner is becoming a real fiasco. The Dane has arrived in Turin in an awful physical shape, and moreover, according to the Corriere dello Sport, is making the Piedmontese club upset for his using of his Twitter profile.
