Adidas to end AC Milan kit deal after 20 years

Adidas will end a 20-year deal to manufacture AC Milan football kit. This will be the last season that the rossoneri will wear Adidas shirts with the club’s executives that are already looking for potential replacements of the German company.

AC Milan are already negotiating a new deal with some emerging brands like New Balance and Under Armour that, at the moment, is the leading candidate to replace Adidas at the end of the season.

Adidas has been a traditional sponsor of the Serie A giants over the last 20 years but the agreement between the Germans and AC Milan expires at the end of the season.

AC Milan have also ended a sponsorship contract with Audi, another huge and historical sponsor if the Serie A giants.

Meantime some club’s executives are flying to China for new partnership opportunities. Marco Fassone will be staying in Milan to deal with TV rights and to attend the Milan derby on Sunday night.
