Emil Forsberg could be leaving RB Leipzig this summer, if his agent’s latest statements are anything to go by.

The 25-year-old has been targeted by Arsenal as part of Arsene Wenger’s planned revamp, with the Swede impressing with eight goals and 22 assists in Bundesliga action this season.

The Red Bull-owned club made the incredible jump from the second tier to second place among the elite, with only Bayern Munich besting them at the end of the season.

Bayern themselves have also been linked to a move for the Swede, with a £30 fee being quoted.

So far, however, RBL have refused to play ball, despite the fact that Forsberg is reported to have handed in a transfer request.

"I will not comment on the clubs involved. There are big clubs who are very interested in Emil," Hasan Cetinkaya told  newspaper Aftonbladet (via the Mirror).

"He has made history in Germany. Of course, you know RB want to keep Emil, you need to constantly make sure to make Emil satisfied.

"He has paid back the club ten-fold. Maybe it's time to test himself at a big club.”
