It’s a summer of movement at Napoli. After the farewell of Higuain and the difficulties being encountered in trying to commit Koulibaly to a new deal, now there are concerns surrounding hometown boy Lorenzo Insigne. The player’s agent was speaking to Radio Crc today and he stated that; “Lorenzo’s career at Napoli could come to an end, De Laurentiis has always declared he’s the symbol of this club but at the last meeting we received answers that were not favourable”. Fabio Andreotti continued; “Napoli does not want to let Lorenzo leave but the contract they offer is not good enough”.  

He then had this stark warning for Napoli fans; “There are three clubs who are amongst the richest in the world that want Lorenzo and (Sporting Director) Giutoli has been aware of this since April. Napoli said no and Lorenzo was happy but since we have opened talks with De Laurentiis we have been concerned by some of his answers. His heart is here in Napoli for sure, but it’s possible he could change clubs”.
