Agent tells CM: Man United 'interesting' to €70m Real Madrid star
The Real Madrid supersub is being linked to a move to Old Trafford for around €70 million, and Mr. Lopez was kind enough to clarify what went wrong with Milan, who were also courting the former Juventus man.
“Did Milan try for Morata? Yes, there were frequent contacts until a few days ago, I can confirm it”, Lopez said.
“What went wrong? Real Madrid simply found Milan’s offer to be unsatisfactory.
“It’s a very fascinating club, a very interesting option. They’ve made a very important offer, and now it’s up to Real to make a decision.”
Asked if Manchester United could land the 24-year-old quickly, the agent said that he didn’t know. “I can’t tell you, we’ll have to see”.
The former Juventus man is unhappy at his lack of playing time in Madrid, and is being linked to a departure.
