Agent: 'Napoli have contacted me for Kalinic'
"Napoli would be an exceptional choice for Nikola" Tomislav Erceg told Il Mattino: "even though taking Gonzalo Higuain's place would be nigh on impossible, he's broken every record there is.
"We've been in contact with Napoli in the past, but I've not heard from them in the last few months.
"Many European clubs like him, but he wants to stay in Italy".
Kalinic had a brilliant first half of the season, scoring 10 goals for Fiorentina. He would cool down in 2016, however, only adding two more Serie A strikes, though this could well be due to playing in the Ukrainian league, which begins quite a bit before most Western European leagues.
