Agent of Danish striker tells Manchester United his client will not be heading to Old Trafford

The agent of Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg has told Manchester United to forget about signing the player this summer. The 19-year-old Danish international has been a revelation this year in the Erdedivisie but failed to live up to expectation in the Europa League Final against United last month.

Despite this, boss Jose Mourinho has had the youngster on his radar but speaking to Voetbal Primeur, Jens Steffensen confirmed that there had been contact with several big European clubs but that Dolberg would remain in Amsterdam next season, explaining that; “Kasper is now preparing with the national team for matches against Germany and Kazakhstan. I can say one thing – all the top European clubs have enquired about him. At the moment there is nothing concrete, there is nothing on paper. Kasper intends to remain at Ajax for another year."

Dolberg himself recently claimed how happy he was at his current employer when he told Elf Voetbal that; “"I will stay next season at Ajax, I want to get better and score more goals."
