Agent on Cavani and Isco: 'Buying established stars isn't Juventus' style!'

A well-known agent has said that buying from big clubs “isn't Marotta's style”.

Giuseppe Bozzo of AGB Sport Management (they represented Federico Bernardeschi and Antonio Cassano, to name two) spoke to Tuttosport today about the possibility of acquiring Edinson Cavani and Isco, two disgruntled stars who ply their trade with PSG and Real Madrid, respectively.

“Dealing with PSG is always very difficult” Bozzo said “and Cavani would have to surrender a hefty chunk of his salary to return to Italy.

“He's certainly worthy of the Black and White, but I see him going to the Premier League more than Italy”.

The Bianconeri have long been linked with the 29-year-old PSG wantaway, who is frustrated at his current role at the Parc des Princes and has often hinted at moving back to Italy.

Isco, for his part, has faced stern competition to start in Real Madrid's midfield ever since moving to the Santiago Bernabeu, with the likes of Toni Kroos, Casemiro, Luka Modric and Lucas Vazquez also vying for a spot.

“Juve can get Isco, but Real Madrid have always been really careful about selling: they always sell well, and they paid a lot of money to bring him in from Malaga.

“And why should Real reinforce a potential Champions League rival?

“Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici's system has worked very well so far: they buy stars who are moving to their first big club, like Paulo Dybala and Alex Sandro”
