Interviewed exclusively by Calciomercato.com, agent Paulo Fernando Tonietto claimed Thiago Silva has no intention of leaving Milan.

The Brazilian defender has been linked to Barcelona but unless the Rossoneri decide to sell him, the 27-year-old player will be happy to stay in San Siro.

“Thiago is happy in Milan so there is no reason to leave. If he does, it will be because Milan decide to sell,” said agent Tonietto.

“He is the No. 1 centre-back in the world and it’s easy to link him to Barcelona or even Real Madrid and Manchester. But neither Barcelona nor Milan ever contacted me regarding this option. It’s all speculation.

“Thiago has 4 years left on his contract and knowing him, I wouldn’t be surprised if he decided to end his career in Rossonero.”
