Alex Sanchez' future had been a very hot topic in this summer's transfer window. His current Arsenal deal will be expiring in the summer of 2018 as Arsenal have been trying to get him to renew his deal with the club. Here is what Sanchez recently said In an interview with Sport Radio Chile (Via Daily Star), " I want to play in the UEFA Champions league. I have now made up my mind, I am now waiting on Arsenal to give me their decision. I would love to win the Champions league title, it is a dream of mine since I am a child".

Arsenal won't be playing in the Champions league next season as they finished in 5th place in the EPL standings. Even if Arsene Wenger says that he is positive that Sanchez will stay at the club, things aren't looking very good if you take into accound the Chilean's words. Arsenal will have to make a difficult decision but they know that if he doesn't renew his contract soon, then this summer will be their last chance to cash in on him.

Here is what Wenger had said to the English press on the matter: " There isn't all that much to be resolved, I have had positive talks with the player. I am always someone who is positive....".
