Allegri: Juventus can't line up with Higuain, Mandzukic and Dybala

Juventus won’t play with three strikers in Saturday’s big game against AS Roma, but could line up with three defenders, says Coach Max Allegri.

“Dybala could play with Higuain, or Mandzukic with Higuain. It’s hard to have them all together,” he told media in today’s press conference, “Dybala is going great, then again it’s normal that a player struggles to get back in shape after two months”.

    ON TRANSFERS:

“I’ve already written my letter to Santa, we’ll see what I get… our most important January signings will be Dybala and Pjaca.

    ON NAPOLI:

“They’ve been our main antagonists alongside Napoli, they’re a strong side with quality players and good organization. Roma are gritty, they concede little compared to earlier in the season, they may create a little less but are more solid.

“It’s not a decisive game, but the game is key to end the year ahead in the league. Dzeko is playing at excellent levels”.

    ON BARZAGLI:

“Barzagli is in good shape, I don’t know if he’ll play. Benatia could come back, too. We could return to a three-man defence, but not because of how Roma play”.

    ON PJANIC:

“Pjanic will play, it’s only fair that he should play against Roma. Five years in Rome will leave a mark, it’ll be a different game for him. He’s improving physically, and on the technical one too. He’ll have to remain serene.”
