Massimiliano Allegri spoke about the present (the Coppa Italia semifinal) and future (the market) in a press conference in the run up to the match against Palermo: "I haven't decided the formation yet, Ibrahimovic, Boateng and Nesta are in doubt. This is the match of the season for Palermo, but we'll play to win and qualify for the final in Rome. That's our target".

On the market: "We have already acquired Mexes and Taiwo. is it better Ganso or Kakà? I am not the one to choose, I have to speak with the club first. Ibra is staying, for sure. No doubts about it. Pirlo had an unlucky season, too many injuries, but he's a player with lots of things to give. But we need to evaluate the situation with the club at the end of the season. We are AC Milan and everybody must accept the coach's choices, bad or good ones. We cannot stop because we won the Scudetto, but we all must go on with great motivation".
