Allegri on Pogba: ‘He’s a Juventus player, I expect him to train with us on Monday’

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has held a pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow’s friendly game against West Ham at London’s Queen Elizabeth Stadium.

“We are going to play against a team that is more fit than us as they’ve already played the Europa League play off. We’ll play with a four-man defence: Buffon; Dani Alves, Benatia, Rugani, Alex Sandro; Lemina, Pjanic, Asamoah; Pereyra; Dybala, Mandzukic.

“Lichtsteiner won’t travel to London because he has back pain, all the other players will be part of the squad. Higuain will enter in the second half, Khedira and Bonucci will work here at Vinovo.”

“We have to understand how strong we are, we have to fight and be humbles. We’ve completed five signings and they are all going to improve our level. Pogba is under contract with Juventus, so I am not going to talk about possible replacements, it would be nonsense.”

“I expect both Pogba and Evra to arrive here in Vinovo tomorrow night and take first training session on Monday.”

“Marchisio is improving, he is running a bit and working with the ball. He should be back in October.
