Allegri to Chelsea: Marotta: ‘If I were him I’d think twice about leaving us’

As we reported earlier last week, Chelsea have set their sights on Massimiliano Allegri and the Old Lady’s CEO Giuseppe Marotta was asked his thoughts about this rumor ahead of the Frosinone clash.

“I speak every  with Allegri day by day. The next month will be decisive for us an it will say a lot about our season”, Marotta told Mediaset Premium.

“We don’t talk about off the field matters, by the way.”

“Allegri is happy here and there are all the conditions to carry on working together also in the future.”

“Results are all that matter in football and Allegri has proved a lot under this point of view. A football club is like a company and the role of the manager is vital to provide consistency.”

“Conte and Allegri are two top managers and Chelsea is a top club, but Allegri is already sitting on the bench of a freat club.”

“If I were him, I’d think twice before leaving us.”
