ANALYSIS: The five reasons why Allegri will extend Juventus deal this week

Massimiliano Allegri will put pen to paper on a new Juventus deal expiring in 2018 this week. The two parties will carry on working together after another winning season.

As CM.com’s Gianluca Minchiotti points out, Allegri will extend his stay in Turin for five main reasons:
    1. Both him and Juventus want to win the Champions League next season
    2. The club want to buy more players like Dybala or Alex Sandro, which means talented prospects still not too expensive for Serie A clubs.
    3. Allegri’s will to deploy mostly Italian players
    4. Both parties are well aware that a club listed on the national stock exchange can’t refuse offers like the ones they received last year for Coman or Vidal
    5. A common strategy to vary the team’s system through the acquisition of a top-class offensive midfielder.
