Andrea Belotti stretched off Torino-Verona
The granata are leading 2-0 but are now worried for the fitness o their star striker who had to leave the pitch due to an injury.
The 24-year-old will undergo medical examination in the coming hours to know which kind of injury he has picked up and how long his recovery will take.
Belotti is one of the best strikers in Serie A. Last year he netted 24 goals in the Italian league and he has five goals in six appearances in the current campaign.
The Italy star has a € 100 million release clause included in his contract with the granata and both Chelsea and AC Milan had been linked with welcoming the player’s services last summer.
Torino, however, did not accept any offer below his transfer fee and the player did not push to leave the club to join a bigger one.
The player is now waiting to sign a new contract with Torino but his injury is now the biggest concern for the granata.
