Another Napoli star set for contract extension
The partenopei want to enter new contract talks with Belgian winger Dries Mertens whose Napoli contract runs until June 2018.
Mertens, 29, has two goals and three assists in five games in all competitions this term and despite being not considered a regular starter by coach Maurizio Sarri, he is one of the few Serie A players who comes off the bench in pretty much each game.
Mertens completed a € 10 million switch from PSV back in 2013 and has scored 36 registering 34 assists in 143 games with the partenopei.
