Arsenal news: Psg make swap offer for Alexis Sanchez, Roma’s improved Mahrez bid

Arsenal summer transfer campaign continues with the Gunners who are looking for more reinforcements after welcoming the services of Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette.

Leicester City star Mahrez has emerged as a top transfer target of both Arsenal and Roma. The Serie A giants have already opened talks over the signing of the Algerian star but there is still no agreement between the two clubs.

The latest report of the Mail Online claims the giallorossi have offered € 32 million to sign the best Premier League player of the 2015/16 campaign. Leicester City, however, won’t sell Mahrez for less than € 55 million and the Foxes are reported to have rejected Roma’s refreshed bid.

Previous reports in Italy, however, claimed Leicester could be ready to sell Mahrez for an offer close to € 35 million.

Meantime, the future of Alexis Sanchez is still worrying Arsenal fans.

The contract of the Chile International expires in June 2018 and France Football (via foot01) insists Psg strongly want to sign the former Barcelona star.

The reliable French paper claims Psg are open to include either Lucas or Blaise Matuidi in a potential player-plus cash swap deal. The player is also negotiating with Psg. Last week he met the French club’s director of sport Antero Henrique in Paris but, at the moment, there are no reports of an agreement between Psg and the Chile star.
