Arsenal resume interest in Serie A starlet
The 21-year-old has emerged as one of Serie A’s most talented and promising midfielders last season, so much so Juventus are also being linked with a summer move for the Czech Republic International.
According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sportwitness), Arsenal are now keeping tabs on the 21-year-old who has previously hint that he would be open to a future move to the Premier League.
​Jankto played his first ever Serie A season in the 2016/17 campaign. Scorer of four goals in 29 appearances with Udinese last season, Jankto could become a serious transfer target for Arsenal given Santi Cazorla’s physical issues which have made Arsenal desperate for the signing of a new centre midfielder.
It is still unclear whether Jankto has a release clause included in his contract. If he does, it is unlikely to be as low as € 8 million.
