    Arsenal star offered to Napoli in player plus cash swap deal for Higuain

    Gonzalo Higuain could be on his way out of Napoli. The Argentinean star’s agent told media that his client is not going to extend his contract expiring in 2018 with Napoli. The former Real Madrid ace has a release-clause of € 94 million and Napoli are only open to sell him for that fee.

    According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli have refused an offer of Atletico Madrid, but are now considering Arsenal’s proposal. The Gunners have reportedly offered € 65 million plus Olivier Giroud who scored three goals for France at Euro 2016.

    The Italian paper also reports that Juventus have also made contact with the Argentinean’s agent (and brother) Nicolas. Marotta and Paratici know that signing him will be nothing easy, especially considering the strong rivalry between the two clubs.

    The Old Lady is going to make an attempt anyway, being still looking for the ideal replacement of Alvaro Morata.
