Arsenal to bid again for City target, left out of Monaco's ad campaign

Arsenal are set to make another offer for Thomas Lemar or Monaco, according to L’Equipe.

The Gunners have already seen a bid of 34 million be binned by the Ligue 1 champions, but now want to put 45m on the table for the Manchester City target.

Watched by Pep Guardiola back in January, Lemar is considered to be one of the best wingers around, and Arsene Wenger doesn’t want to abandon the trail quite yet.

Having signed Alexandre Lacazette for a stunning 53m, the Gunners are looking to spend that £100m kitty they were handed this summer.

Monaco had recently been reported by the Mirror to want £80m (90m) for the star 21-year-old, but he was still left out of the Ligue 1 club’s recent promo kit poster.

The French international scored 14 goals and provided as many assists this season in all competitions, as Monaco made it all the way to the Champions League semi-finals.
